Ebenezer Dorset’s letter to his son shows that he knows his son very well and knows that he is a pain in their behinds! What shows me this because he had to have the kidnappers pay HIM, for the return of his son, instead of him paying the kidnappers. Another reason that I can tell he knows his son very well is because he said that he would take him off there hands like he knew that they didn’t want him anymore.

4.) Ebenezer Dorset’s letter to Sam reveals that Ebenezer truly knows his child. He most likely realized that his child would give the kidnappers enough problems that they didn’t want the Red Chief.

In Ebenezer Dorset’s letter his comments about his son probably meant he doesn’t really care too much for him, that’s why he asked for a ransom just so that he would keep him. He knows that his son is a pain in the booty’ and the kidnappers don’t really want him. also the fact that there wasn’t anyone looking after him when he got kidnapped ,makes me think that they didn’t really care what he did just as long as he wasn’t bothering them.

Ebenezer Dorset’s letter reveals his relationship to his son.
His relationship to his son is good, but he wants money for them to return him. Ebenezer Dorset’s letter says, “you bring Johnny home and pay me two hundred and fifty dollars in cash, and I agree to take him off your hands.” The story also says, “You had better come at midnight, for the neighbors believe he is lost, and I couldn’t be responsible for what they would do to anybody they saw bringing back.” Ebenezer Dorset’s letter reveals he loves his son, but he wants money for him.

Ebenezer Dorset’s letter reveals that him and his son don’t have a great relationship because when he wrote that letter to the kidnappers he told them that if they don’t want the kid anymore then they need to bring him 250 dollars and the kid and when they brought him the money and the kid the dad said they have ten min. to run or the kid is there’s so that shows they don’t have a great relationship.

4.) Ebenezer Dorset’s letter revels about his son is that Ebenezer knows how bad his son the Red Chief acts. One example is that Ebenezer is willing to take two hundred fifty dollars and his son off Sams hands. The second example is that Ebenezer knows and does not like the way Red Chief.
